Palma de Mallorca, Spain

About This Conference

Background and Overview
This is a continuation of the previous successful first Conference held in Tarragona, Spain in April 2008. The ECI International Symposium on Flexible Electronics (ISFE) will cover all issues related to Flexible Electronics: materials, processing, technology, characterization, reliability, flexible AM-LCDs, AM-OLEDs, physics and modeling of semiconductor devices for flexible electronics (inorganic and organic and polymer TFTs, OLEDs,..),electro textiles, etc. ISFE is intended to be a forum to present the latest results on Flexible Electronics and its applications. So far, there is no similar conference which addresses these topics. The enormous increase of the applications of Flexible Electronics makes it necessary to have such a conference.

Potential attendees of this conference are people both from academia and industry, who work, or are interested, in topics related to Flexible Electronics. They can be professors, students, researchers, technologists, managers of companies of Flexible Electronics. The conference will be very useful in order that attendees gain a deeper knowledge of all aspects of Flexible Electronics, and that they become familiar with the most recent progress in Flexible Electronics. Besides, the conference will be a forum in which researchers from academia and industry will be able to interact, discuss results, and possibly start research collaborations and future joint projects.

Conference Outline
On Sunday evening conference participants will gather for an opening reception during which they will have informal technical discussions. The first full conference day will be divided into a morning session, with two invited talks by well known and respected experts covering fundamentals of the field, plus another technical session where authors will present their submitted papers orally. After lunch, there will be another session with oral presentations.

Tuesday morning will be scheduled like Monday morning; however, in the early evening there will be a poster session followed by the conference gala dinner in a local restaurant. Wednesday morning will have invited speakers followed by two more sessions with oral presentations. A final talk of the Chair will close the Conference.
